ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) — Police say former NBA participant Glen “Large Child” Davis was arrested in a Maryland resort final month on drug possession and distribution expenses.
WMAR-TV in Baltimore reviews that Davis was arrested at a Hampton Inn in Aberdeen on Feb. 7.
In keeping with court docket information, the resort proprietor smelled marijuana coming from Davis’ room.
Aberdeen police Lt. William Reiber instructed WMAR that police recovered 126 grams of marijuana and a briefcase containing $92,000 in money inside Davis’ room.
Davis was arrested and later indicted on seven counts of drug possession and distribution.
Davis’ lawyer mentioned Davis adamantly maintains his innocence and appears ahead to clearing his title in court docket.
Davis, a star participant at Louisiana State College, went on to play for the Celtics, the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Clippers.
